City For Sale is a breakup album. A relationship album. Instead of a woman its about my hometown...YOUR hometown...your old way of living. Growing apart from a place, from people, from who you once were. Because i'm from a currently gentrifying city that theme is on the surface of the album but the overall narrative is for any person that feels unfamiliar in a space that was currently familiar to them. This album is me finding my new comfort zone because I have to.
This City For Sale album is the first time I've produced an entire album on my own including making every beat. Even Donwill's "One Word No Spaces" LP (which I'm credited as the producer) was co produced and co arranged by Donwill. Thats something we always wanted to do. City For Sale is another personal goal for me. I've been afraid to do an entire album alone until now....if this shit is wack its all my fault. With that said this is my calling card album. This is the one I will hopefully be known for when its all said and done.

Von Pea & The Other Guys reunite for a follow up to their 2014 EP To:You. This time around the DMV production duo give us 10 full tracks for Brooklynati native Von Pea to rap over, with an additional track produced by Von Pea himself. The music on The Fiasco represents the same quality as their previous efforts, but sounds bit grittier and more stripped down from the jazzy soulful sounds of To:You. Rounding out the album, the fellas tapped the following friends for features: Donwill, Rob Cave, Skyzoo, J-Live, Verbal Kent, and Wordsworth.
After teaming up with The Other Guys on their hit summer single “Blow My Mind”, Von Pea (of Tanya Morgan) enlists the DMV duo to produce his latest solo album, To:You.
Laced with the soulful, smooth production of The Other Guys, To:You is a gift from Von Pea to... you. Speaking directly to the fans, Von’s raps are some of his best in recent Tanya Morgan history. Features on the album include Substantial, Kooley High, and the whole Lessondary crew on the posse cut “Connect Four aka Lessondary >>>”.
……..It’s been 10 years since Tanya Morgan gave their fans a proverbial ‘key to the city’ by way of their album “Brooklynati”, and in commemoration of this milestone HiPNOTT Records is pressing the album to vinyl for the first time ever. May 12, 2019 marks the 10th anniversary of the album’s release which features Phonte, Blu, and their fellow Lessondary crew members. The album has now been remastered and issued on double transparent red vinyl. The release is limited to 300 pieces.
Von Pea & The Other Guys reunite after the release of their acclaimed EP “To:You” (2014) and their full length LP “The Fiasco” (2017). The “Tanya Morgan” emcee and DMV production duo return with a 5 song EP entitled “I’m Good Luv, Enjoy” laced with the soulful samples, hard hitting drums, and clever rhymes the trio have been known to provide. The EP features fellow Lessondary Crew members Donwill and Rob Cave.
Tanya Morgan have returned with their fifth full length album titled "Don & Von". This time the duo steps from behind the odd moniker to show listeners that they exist in a world of their own. The 12 track album tackles a wide range of topics including their tenure in the game, police brutality and being black in America.
Don & Von features guest vocals by Jack Davey, Kooley High, MoRuf, Nappy Nina & Rob Cave and boasts production by Von Pea, Donwill, Brick Beats, dane.zone, Clint Taylor and Aeon. Clocking in at about 45 minutes the album is a great point of entry for the uninitiated, a solid refresher for anyone who may have forgotten and an instant classic for die hard fans.
